Pelican Island Elementary is home to the Aloa Lorton Nature Trail and the SOARING Pelicans! 

Mission Statement: Pelican Island, Nature's classroom, will provide a collaborative learning community that promotes environmentally minded, life-long learners through an interactive, standards-based approach.

Our Vision is to prepare our students for college and career choices in a competitive 21st Century global economy by providing research-based, differentiated instruction that address the needs of all learners in a safe, educational environment.

Pelican Island Elementary is a Pre-K-5th grade elementary school named after the first wildlife refuge in the United States. We are located in Sebastian, Florida (half way down the Atlantic Ocean side about an hour south of the Kennedy Space Center).

IN SCHOOL, ALL DAY, EVERY DAY!

Your child's attendance is crucial to his/her education. Make sure they are in school, all day, everyday! Help them to arrive on time and refrain from making them miss school by picking them up early.
